After completing the cowl pattern for our first Christmas Present Crochet-Along (that starts July 6th Yippee!), I thought it would be great to have a matching hat! As I am doing with the cowl, I will give you 2 sets of instructions with one using the bulky yarn and the other for using worsted weight! Oh….You didn’t see the Supply List for Project #1? No worries. Click HERE to get it! Want to know more about the Christmas Present Crochet-Along? Click HERE for more info!
As July 6th gets closer, I get more and more excited about the Crochet-Along and hope you are too! There is so much chatter going on in the group with people already buying their yarn or talking about using different name brands of yarn, etc. You don’t have to join the group to take part in the CAL, but I think you’ll have more fun and maybe even keep the motivation and dedication to actually get those Christmas Present done! It’s a centralized place where you can ask questions, get help or just chat…. Click HERE to join the group!
Here’s what you’ll need for the 2nd project that starts on August 3rd. This project will last 2 weeks. You can join anytime during those 2 weeks to complete your hat!

Are you always up until midnight on Christmas Eve crocheting that last-minute present? Last year I saw a lot of people in the crochet groups struggling to get finished. I thought it would be fun if we started a Christmas Present Crochet – Along in July and it would run through probably the end of November or Early December! Let this year be the year that you won’t have to jump through hoops or stress out over not finishing!
