Wow! The Vintage Bloom uses the wonderful Sweet Roll Yarn, and I can promise you’ll love the drape and quickness of this project. It’s incredibly versatile, so you’ll be able to figure out easily if you want your project wider than what’s given in the pattern or maybe even shorter or longer!

You’ll need 2 skeins of the Sweet Roll Yarn which can be found at your local Jo-Ann Craft and Fabric Store. There are just so many amazing colors….that it’s hard to choose from isn’t it? I love the Blueberry and Blackberry myself!

Abbreviations:
ch – chain
dc – double crochet
sc – single crochet
st – stitch
Gauge: 12 dc sts and 6 rows = 4″ (Gauge for this project is not important)
Finished Measurements: 94″ x 6 1/2″
Notes:
- Ch 3 is considered the first double crochet in the pattern.
- Ch 4 is considered the first double crochet and ch st in the pattern.
- Multiples of 5 plus 2
Row 1: Ch 27, dc in 4th ch from the hook, dc in next 3 ch, *skip next 2 ch, (dc, ch 5, dc) in next ch, skip next 2 ch, dc in next 5 ch, repeat from *, turn. (15 dc, 2 [ch,ch5,dc])
Row 2: Ch 3 (See Pattern Notes), dc in next 4 sts, *ch 2, sc in ch-5 sp, ch 2, dc in next 5 sts, repeat from * ending with last st in top of ch 3, turn. (15 dc, 4 ch-2 sps, 2 sc)
Row 3: Ch 3, skip next st, (dc, ch 5, dc) in next st, *skip next 2 sts, 2 dc in next ch-2 sp, dc in next st, 2 dc in next ch-2 sp, skip next 2 sts, (dc, ch 5, dc) in next st** until last 2 sts, skip next st, dc in top of ch 3, turn. (12 dc, 3 (dc,ch5,dc)
Row 4: Ch 4 (See Pattern Notes), *sc in next ch-5 sp**, ch 2, dc in next 5 sts, ch 2, repeat from *, ending last repeat at **, ch 1, dc in top of ch 3, turn. (6 ch-2 sps, 12 dc, 3 sc)
Row 5: Ch 3, dc in next (ch-1 sp, sc) 2 dc in next ch-2 sp), *skip next 2 sts, (dc, ch 5, dc) in next st, skip next 2 sts, 2 dc in next ch-2 sp, dc in next st**, 2 dc in next ch-2 sp, repeat from * ending last repeat at **, dc in next ch-1 sp, dc in top of ch 3, turn. (15 dc, 2 [ch,ch5,dc])
Repeat Rows 2-5 until you have reached your desired length ending last repeat on Row 2. Fasten Off. Weave in the ends. You can whip stitch the ends together if you would like an infinity scarf.
