Another fabulous week of “Making it thru Monday! There was so much to see but these two projects were the most viewed!

1. Our first submission is from Heather and she made this adorable skirt using the crocodile stitch!  It’s probably one of the most stunning projects I’ve seen around.  Thanks for sharing your talents Heather!

2. Next is from Cindy and she took a Craftsy class to learn the broomstick technique!  I love this color and it’s the prettiest coffee cozy EVER!

Jayden's Shawlette - A Free Crochet Pattern by ELK Studio

 Introducing Jayden’s Shawlette! My granddaughter asked me a couple of weeks ago to make her something for winter. I took her to Hobby Lobby and she picked out I Love This Yarn with the shimmer. It’s no surprise to me because she loves everything “blingy”. I also have a 2-year-old granddaughter, Dakotah, and you can’t make big sister one without little sister. She wouldn’t pose for pictures though.

Since I had to spend some time with the sizing, I decided to make it into a free pattern so everyone could enjoy it! I’ve also decided to make an adult version as well. It’s taken some time to write everything out, and I certainly want to make it easy to read for everyone so I broke it down into sizes and different pages.

Each pattern is written out separately which means it will take up a lot of space on the blog. I’ve decided to place the child sizes on one page and the adult sizes on another page. I feel that will cut down on so much scrolling and to me, it’s easier to click to another page anyway for the sizes that you want.Jayden's Shawlette - A Free Crochet Pattern by ELK Studio

Another great addition of ELK Studio’s Saturday Crochet Show! Yes, it’s a little later but what better way to spend your Saturday night than looking through great crochet projects!
