Alright! Let’s get started on our meaningful and heartfelt baby blanket. I hope you’ll enjoy creating Hannah Kate’s Baby Blanket. I think you’ll find the pattern easy and fun to crochet because of the different stitching and texture.
I wanted to mention that Hannah Kate is holding her own and doing well. I can’t tell you how happy I am to report she’s making great progress although she will most likely be in the hospital for some time. Blessings and prayers to her.

- Bernat Softee Baby Stripes, #3 Light Weight, 100 % Acrylic, 287 yards/120 grams. Colorway: Bright Future Stripes. Technically you will need only 4 balls to complete the blanket, but I used 5 so that I could purposely make the edging solid all the way around and took out those colors from the extra ball.
- G Hook/4.0mm
- Tapestry Needle
ch – chain
blo – back loop only
dc – double crochet
flo – front loop only
rem – remaining
sc – single crochet
sl st – slip st
Gauge: 18 dc and 9 rows = 4″
