Dixie Charm Poncho Pattern Instructions
Supplies:
1. Premier Sweet Roll, 140 grams, 245 yards, 100% acrylic, Raspberry Swirl, 4 rolls (If you normally crochet the extended portions of my patterns, you will need 5-6 rolls).
2. Hook – I/5.5mm
3. Tapestry Needle
Abbreviations:
ch(s) – chain(s)
dc – double crochet
rem – remaining
sc – single crochet
sl st – slip st
sp(s) – space(s)
st(s)– stitch(es)
Measurement: 52" length (wingspan), 21" height (spine)
Gauge: 12 dc sts and 6 rows = 4"
Pattern Notes:
Ch 1 at beginning of round does not count as the first st.
Ch 2 at beginning of round does not count as the first st.
Ch 3 at beginning of round counts as the first dc.
Corner st is the third (central) dc of the 5-dc group made in one st
Special Stitches:
Picot: Ch 3, sl st in first chain.
Round 1: Ch 76, join by sl st to first ch to form ring, ch 2 (See Pattern Notes), dc in first ch, dc in next 17 chs, 5 dc in next ch (corner made), *dc in next 18 chs, 5 dc in next ch, repeat from * two more times, join by sl st to first st. (88 dc, 4 corner sts)

Optional Top Edging
